We Pause - Online Meditation

“What we frequently call formal meditation involves purposefully making time for stopping all outward activity and cultivating stillness, with no agenda other than being fully present in each moment.” – Jon Kabat-Zinn

We Pause is a weekly meditation group that meets online via Zoom. This group is right for you if you’re:

  • Interested in beginning a meditation practice or supplementing an ongoing home practice and looking for instruction, suggestions, and encouragement

  • Wanting to connect and be in community with other meditators in a casual, relaxed environment from the comfort of your own home, office, or even your car.

  • Needing a short (30 minute), cost-effective, guided meditation with an experienced facilitator.

If you’re interested in joining my weekly sessions, please get in touch and I will respond with all the information you need to get started. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by pausing and being with the present moment exactly as it is. We Pause (together).

Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is a practice of releasing, receiving and letting go. We use blankets, bolsters, and blocks to fully support you as you enjoy long holds (typically 6-15 minutes) in postures meant to soothe, calm, and revitalize your nervous system. This gentle practice of conscious resting is truly an act of self-care and can be practiced at any time of day. This is a subtle practice that has powerful effects on the mind and body and is a beautiful way to provide balance to busy schedules.

Empower – Yoga and Meditation Retreat, March 2025

It is better to live your own destiny imperfectly than to live an imitation of somebody else’s life with perfection. -Bhagavad Gita

What does it mean to live an empowered life? To take up space and claim your agency and purpose? This intimate, small group retreat offers an opportunity to explore empowerment using a yogic lens. Understanding deeply that we are already whole and complete, we’ll explore authenticity, purpose, and connection to our own inner knowing.

Together, we will:

  • Explore strength, balance, and flexibility through the practice of asana (shapes) including warrior flow and powerful slow flow.

  • Connect to intuition and clear seeing by cultivating the qualities of stillness, quiet, and patience through mindfulness meditation.

  • Discover the power of pranayama (breath control) for a toned, balanced nervous system.

  • Learn about the concept of Dharma as illuminated through the Bhagavad Gita.

  • Explore the power of softness and rest through the practices of Yoga Nidra and Restorative Yoga.

There will be ample time for building connections, nourishing our bodies with wholesome, fresh food, and enjoying the beauty of nature through hiking and relaxation. This retreat is carefully curated and thoughtfully designed with a trauma-informed approach, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for individuals with different levels of mobility. While some prior yoga experience is recommended, all practices are designed to accommodate individuals with varying levels of experience.

As part of this retreat, you'll enjoy two nights of comfortable accommodations in the charming Thanksgiving House. All meals are included and Elohee does cater to dietary preferences (the food is amazing!). For an additional fee payable directly to Elohee, you can schedule on-site massages and/or Reiki. You are free to attend any or all scheduled classes based on your individual preferences and energy levels.
