Yoga Book Club: No Bad Parts Sunday, Feb. 8th, 1-4pm
I’m thrilled to invite you to Yoga Book Club, where we’ll explore No Bad Parts by Richard Schwartz, PhD —a book that has deeply shaped both my personal healing journey and the way I show up as a teacher.
While No Bad Parts isn’t a traditional yoga text, it offers profound wisdom that beautifully complements the yogic path. For me, this book opened a doorway into greater compassion, inner resilience, and a more spacious understanding of the human experience. It helped me navigate my own inner world with more tenderness and clarity, and it continues to influence how I hold space for others.
In yoga philosophy, Svadhyaya (self-study and compassionate self-inquiry) is an essential part of practice. This book is a powerful companion for that kind of inner exploration. This will be a supportive space where we can reflect, learn, and explore together how the Internal Family Systems model can support the way we move, breathe, and live.
Our Session Will Include:
Slow Flow Yoga to ground and settle
Community Circle
Facilitated Book Discussion (guide provided in advance)
Light Refreshments
Closing Meditation
This afternoon is designed to nourish both body and heart—an opportunity to deepen your practice, connect with community, and explore the parts of ourselves that long to be seen and understood.
I hope you’ll join me for this meaningful and spacious offering. All are welcome; no prior yoga experience is necessary!

Rest in Awareness, Restorative Yoga + Yoga Nidra. Friday, February 13th, 7-8:30pm
Join me for an evening of deep rest as we blend the gentle practices of restorative yoga and yoga nidra. This 90-minute class includes 60 minutes of restorative yoga, where props are used to support and hold the body, promoting profound physical and mental release. We’ll conclude with a 30-minute guided yoga nidra, an ancient meditative practice translated as “dynamic sleep.” This practice cultivates a state of non-doing, allowing us to release deep-seated tension and emerge feeling lighter and deeply nourished.
