Tides of Joy: Yoga and Meditation Retreat, Vieques, Puerto Rico, June 14-19th, 2027 - REGISTRATION OPEN

Join Christina Rodriguez, E-RYT 500, YACEP and Melba Payan, RYT500, YACEP, two Puerto Rican yoga teachers, for a six-day immersion in practice, rest, and joyful connection at the beautiful Finca Victoria retreat center on the island of Vieques, Puerto Rico.

Perched on a hill surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, Finca Victoria is a sanctuary designed for healing and deep rest. The sounds of the island accompany daily life here: warm ocean breezes moving through the trees, the rhythmic song of the native coquí frogs, and some of the clearest night skies in the Caribbean. The absence of light pollution reveals brilliant fields of stars.

This retreat is an invitation to remember something essential.

In the yogic tradition, our deepest nature, the Self that abides beneath the changing waves of life, is luminous, whole, and naturally joyful. Yet in the movement of everyday life, that quiet joy can become obscured by stress, obligation, and the constant pace of modern living.

Tides of Joy offers space to step away from the noise and return to the steady current within.

Through daily yoga practice, meditation, breathwork, and time in nature, we will explore joy not as something we must chase or manufacture, but as something that is already present. It is a natural quality of the heart that becomes visible when we slow down enough to feel it.

Like the tides themselves, this retreat will honor both movement and spaciousness.

Each day will include guided yoga and meditation practices along with generous free time to rest, explore the island, enjoy the retreat center’s spa offerings, or simply sit beneath the palms and listen to the wind moving through the trees. Optional excursions may be offered during the week, including opportunities to experience Vieques’ famous bioluminescent bay.

Together we will practice, laugh, rest, and reconnect with the land, with community, and with the quiet joy that lives within us.

Resourced: Practices for Sustainable Care

, Yoga and Meditation Retreat. March 11-14th, 2027 - SOLD OUT, WAITLIST OPEN

Join Christina Rodriguez, E-RYT 500, YACEP and Julie Newton, RDN, LDN, 200RYT for an intimate four-day, three-night women’s retreat at the beautiful Thanksgiving House at Elohee Retreat Center, nestled in the mountains of North Georgia.

How do we cultivate enough inner and relational resources to care for ourselves and the world in sustainable ways?

Resourced is a yoga and meditation retreat designed to explore how we sustain ourselves, individually and collectively, in a complex and demanding world. When our nervous systems are depleted and our attention scattered, it becomes difficult to care for what matters most. This retreat offers an opportunity to slow down and reconnect with the practices, relationships, and inner capacities that help us feel supported, nourished, and steady enough to meet life with wisdom and care.

Surrounded by forest, a waterfall, and mountain air, we’ll also explore the ways that the natural world can support and restore us. The land itself becomes part of our practice, reminding us that resourcing is not only internal but relational.

Through mindful movement, breath practices, guided meditation, time in nature, and reflective conversation, we’ll explore what it means to be resourced. Resourcing is not something we achieve alone, but something we cultivate within ourselves, with one another, and in relationship with the living world. Together, we’ll draw from the wisdom of yoga philosophy, the subtle body, and nourishment practices to support clarity, resilience, and compassionate presence.

Together, we will:

  • Explore somatic resourcing practices that help us recognize and return to the supports already present within our bodies and nervous systems

  • Experience the regulating power of nature through a guided forest bathing practice

  •  Reflect on food as relationship, exploring nourishment not as control or perfection but as connection to body, community, and the earth that sustains us.

  •  Experience collective resourcing and co-regulation through shared practice, community circles, and intentional time together.

Please note: Resourced is a women’s retreat, created as a nurturing space for those who identify as women to rest, reconnect, and be in community together. This gathering is LGBTQ+ affirming and welcoming.

The Quiet Within, Yoga and Meditation Retreat, Nov 13-15, 2026, SOLD OUT, WAITLIST OPEN

The Quiet Within is a yoga and meditation retreat designed for women longing to slow down, reconnect, and rest in the stillness of their own being. As the season turns toward quiet and reflection, we’ll gather in community to explore practices that support deep listening, inner steadiness, and compassionate presence.

Through grounding movement, guided meditation, restorative rest, and shared reflection, we’ll gently turn inward—honoring the wisdom that arises when we make space for silence. This retreat is an invitation to pause, exhale, and come home to the quiet within.

Together, we will:

  • Honor sacred silence each morning (Saturday & Sunday through 10:00am) to offer spaciousness to busy, overwhelmed minds.

  • Embrace stillness as sacred with guided meditations and gentle breath practices.

  • Rest deeply with restorative yoga and yoga nidra, inviting nervous-system regulation and profound restoration.

  • Connect in community through evening circles, reflection, and shared meals.

Expect unhurried pacing, wholesome meals, hiking trails, cozy spaces for reading/journaling, optional on-site massage/Reiki (booked directly with Elohee), community connection, and time to simply be. Attend any or all scheduled offerings based on your energy and needs.

This retreat is carefully curated with a trauma-informed approach and designed for inclusivity and accessibility across levels of mobility and experience. Prior yoga experience helps but is not required—options are offered throughout.
